The table below lists the information in the JSON file, and the additional steps that may need to be performed.

servers General information on each server in the network environment, such as server ID, server type, and services status, hardware (CPU, memory and disks).

General system information on the server, such as:

  • Operating system and operating system version
  • Professional services solutions installed on the specific server
  • Custom changes and configuration made to the database with the assistance and approval of Tufin support
  • Local users
  • Heap size
  • SecureChange Server:
    • SecureApp Application count and connections
    • SecureChange tickets
    • Overlapping IP addresses
    • Separate server or same server as SecureTrack
    • Is multidomain enabled?

 

tufin: version The TOS and TufinOS version which are installed on the network environment.  

tufin: patch

A custom build created by Tufin that is specific to your environment

 

tufin: device data The information on the devices managed by SecureTrack.  

tufin: customer sizing

Sizing information used to determine your network size, such as the number of revisions, rules devices, and objects. This information is relevant for upgrading to TOS Aurora.

 

tufin: sub_devices

The total number of devices with a parent device - per vendor.
For example, the total number of PanOS firewall devices managed by Panorama devices.

 

tufin: marketplace apps The Tufin extensions (formerly Tufin Marketplace apps) you have installed

 

tufin: ps_solutions The Professional Services scripts and solutions you have installed

 

tufin: number_domains The number of domains in SecureTrack  
tufin: number_zones The number of zones in SecureTrack  

tufin: usp_data

Information on the USPs defined in SecureTrack

 

tufin: ha

The high-availability and automatic failover states of your network environment.

 

tufin: securechange

The type of SecureChange installation: same server or separate server

 

tufin: pegasus

Information collected to determine whether the network environment can be migrated to Tufin Orchestration Suite Aurora

 

system: postgres_version

The PostgreSQL version installed on the servers

 

system: securetrack

The size of your SecureTrack DB

The size of your database will help determine the length of your upgrade process, and allow you to plan customer downtime accordingly.

system: securechangeworkflow

The size of your SecureChange database.

 

system: local_users

The local users that have been added to the system.

This information is not required by Tufin, and can be removed if privacy concerns are an issue.

system: crontabs

The crontab commands that are running on your network environment

 

Troubleshooting

Upgrade Planner won't open or times out

Cause: The server IP addresses are not configured correctly.

Resolution: Contact Tufin support.
