Performance Alerts
This is a Legacy Feature. It is available only if it was already in use in an old deployment that has since been upgraded to this release.
Overview
Performance alerts can be created after firewall OS monitoring has been enabled. Such alerts are used to notify SecureTrack users when certain thresholds are met, not met, or exceeded.
The following system parameters can be monitored:
-
CPU Utilization
-
System Processes
-
Concurrent firewall connections
-
Memory utilization
Create a New Performance Alert
-
Click New.
-
Configure the alert. The following example would cause an alert to be sent to Admin when the CPU utilization of Device 1 exceeds 80%:
-
Click
to save the alert.
Once an alert has been triggered it will not be sent again before a Reload occurs. Reload is relevant to alerts with "Greater Than" or "Less Than" conditions. For example, an alert for >=80% CPU utilization will only be triggered again once CPU utilization has gone down to 64% and then up again to 80%.
