TufinOS 4 Hardening Guide
Overview
This section includes the information necessary for you to ensure that TufinOS 4 is highly secured against threats and vulnerabilities in order to protect your Tufin Orchestration Suite data.
What is TufinOS 4?
TufinOS 4 is a hardened Linux operating system that is based on Rocky Linux 8. As a hardened OS, TufinOS includes only the RPMs and services necessary for the operation of Tufin Orchestration Suite. By removing unnecessary RPMs and services, TufinOS helps minimize the attack surface of the operating system. To maintain the integrity and security of TufinOS, we do not support installing third party RPMs.
TufinOS is updated a few times a year, using the latest version of Rocky Linux 8 available.
RPM Updates
The dnf command is restricted to use the local RPM repository only and to prevent installation of RPMs from remote RPM repositories.
