Hardware Requirements

These general requirements are for the smallest load model. Contact your sales engineer or Tufin support to use the Tufin sizing calculator to determine more precise hardware requirements for your specific needs based on such factors as the total number of monitored devices, number of concurrent users, the number of sites, the number of rules per devices, syslog/LEA traffic rate, the rule base complexity - including the revision size and the number of rule changes per hour/day/week, and whether HA/DA is implemented in your environment.

All platforms must have 64-bit compliant cores.

Tufin Orchestration Suite should be treated as high-risk security resource, similar to how you would treat any LDAP product (for example, Active Directory). Therefore, you should only install Tufin Orchestration Suite in an appropriately secured network and physical location, and only authorized users should be granted access to TOS products and the operating system on the server.

Minimum Hardware Requirements

The minimum hardware configuration is adequate for a very small environment, and provides satisfactory capacity for viewing and evaluating TOS functionality.

Tufin Orchestration Suite (TOS), which includes SecureTrack and SecureChange, requires the following minimum hardware specifications:

• CPU: 24 cores
• Memory: 32 GB
• Storage: 2 x 1 TB SATA HDD in RAID 1 (Total 1 TB)

To access SecureTrack, the browser host requires 4GB RAM to view large policies. Policies with tens of thousands of rules may not be able to be displayed in the browser.

If you are running Tufin Orchestration Suite Classic on multiple servers, a minimum of 512 GB storage (or 50 GB for TufinOS 3.51 or higher) is required for every server on which you are running a Tufin Orchestration Suite product (and not just for the central server).

Recommended Hardware Requirements

The minimum recommended hardware configuration is the minimum required for a production environment. Actual hardware requirements can vary, depending on device and traffic environment, the number of firewalls in use, whether rule and object usage analyses are enabled, expected syslog traffic volume, and more. Contact your sales engineer for assistance in determining your specific hardware requirements.

We recommend the following minimum hardware specifications for running Tufin Orchestration Suite (TOS), including SecureTrack and SecureChange, in a production environment:

• CPU: 32 cores
• RAM: 64 GB
• Storage: 4 x 1 TB SSD in RAID 10 (Total 2 TB)

We recommended that you install TOS on a newly-installed server-class computer or VMware virtual machine that has not been previously used for any other purpose. We recommend that you use the TOS server only for TOS.
