Customizing Workflows Using APIs

The SecureChange API opens SecureChange to integrate with other systems in your organization. Nearly every organization uses a system to assign and track tasks that move through a workflow. Only SecureChange leverages information automatically collected from your network devices to help administrators manage network security requests. With SecureChange API, your network administrators can benefit from SecureChange and maintain consistency in tracking requests in your organization.

The SecureChange API lets you perform the following tasks:

  • Add script: Where you customize SecureChange to run scripts in response to events in a workflow. For more information, see SecureChange Custom Scripts.
  • Add mail: Where you create mailboxes to let requesters open tickets with email. For more information, see Inbound Mailboxes.
