Visualizing Application Dependencies

Overview

Applications often connect to other applications in order to use their servers. For example: A web application may connect to other applications to get billing, DNS, database (SQL) and exchange services. Such connections between applications are called dependencies.

SecureApp helps you understand your application's dependencies at a glance, by visualizing the connectivity between applications.

View an Application's Connectivity Dependencies

1. Click your application Name.

   By default, SecureApp displays the application's Connectivity tab.

2. Click the Dependencies tab.

   SecureApp shows a visual representation of your application, surrounded by all applications it is connected to.
