Installing and Uninstalling the App

Before installing and starting to work with Tufin Orchestration Suite version compatibility, check the prerequisites for the app.

After you install the app, you will need to install a license. For more information, see Managing the App License.

To upgrade Cisco Tetration Application Discovery, install the latest version on the server where the older version is installed. There is no need to uninstall your existing version first.

Select your extension from the Tufin Extensions site.
Click to view the currently supported versions.
Click for the version that you want to install.
For extensions that require a license, select the check box and click I accept the terms in the license agreement.
When the installation file finishes downloading, run the file.

Upgrade Tufin Orchestration Suite

If you are also upgrading Tufin Orchestration Suite (TOS), upgrade TOS and then upgrade Cisco Tetration Application Discovery. See Tufin Extensions (formerly Marketplace) Lifecycle to verify that your extension version will run with your TOS version.

Install the App

Log in via SSH to the SecureChange server.
Copy the installer file to the root directory (/root).
Go to the root directory and run the installer file:

For CentOS 6, RHEL 6, or TufinOS 2.x (TOS 19-2 to 20-1):

# sh setup_TetraImporter_app-vX.Y.Z.el6.run

For CentOS 7, RHEL 7, or TufinOS 3.x (TOS 20-2 and above):

# sh setup_TetraImporter_app-vX.Y.Z.el7.run

Uninstall the App

Uninstalling CTAD is a simple process – running a command in the SecureChange server. This stops the service and removes the app files from the database. However, the data and app settings are still retained for future use.

If you want to remove this information, contact a Tufin Representative for support.

Log in via SSH to the SecureChange server.
Go to the root directory and run the following command:

# sh setup_CiscoTetrationApplicationDiscovery_app-vX.Y.Z.run --uninstall

# sh setup_CiscoTetrationApplicationDiscovery_app-vX.Y.Z.run -u
