Installing, Upgrading, and Uninstalling

Before installing and starting to work with IPAM Security Policy App (ISPA), follow the prerequisites for the app.

After you install the app, you will need to install a license. For more information, see Managing the App License.

Install the App

  1. Log in via SSH to the SecureTrack server.

  2. Copy the installer file to any directory on the server.

  3. Go to the folder and run the installer file:

    • For CentOS 6, RHEL 6, or TufinOS 2.X (TOS R19-2 to R20-1):

    • # sh setup_IPAM_app-vX.Y.Z.el6.run

    • For CentOS 7, RHEL 7, or TufinOS 3.X (TOS R20-2 and above):

    • # sh setup_IPAM_app-vX.Y.Z.el7.run

Upgrade the App

To upgrade IPAM Security Policy App, install the latest version on the server where the older version is installed. There is no need to uninstall your existing version first.

Upgrade Tufin Orchestration Suite

If you are also upgrading Tufin Orchestration Suite (TOS), upgrade TOS and then upgrade IPAM Security Policy App. See Marketplace App Lifecycle to verify that your app version will run with your TOS version.

Uninstall the App

Uninstalling IPAM Security Policy App is a simple process – running a command in the SecureTrack server. This stops the service and removes the app files from the database. However, the subnet data, zone data, and app settings are still retained for future use.

If you want to remove this information, contact a Tufin Representative for support.

  1. Log in via SSH to the SecureTrack server.
  2. Go to the root directory and run the following command:
  3. # sh setup_IPAM_app-vX.Y.Z.run --uninstall
