Tracking Certification Tickets

Overview

After the Rule Lifecycle Management App (RLM) opens a rule recertification, rule decommission, or rule modification ticket in SecureChange, an App Administrator can track the progress of the ticket in the Tickets () menu.

What Can I See?

For each ticket, you see the following information:

  • Ticket ID: ID of the ticket in SecureChange.

  • Subject: Description of the ticket.

  • Action: Certify or Decertify.

  • Progress: Status for the ticket. Options include:

    • In Progress (): Ticket is active in SecureChange.

    • Failed (): See the Notifications () for details.

    • Closed (): Ticket was closed successfully in SecureChange.

    • Rejected (): SecureChange rejected the ticket because no automation for provisioning and committing changes was defined in the rule.

  • Rules: Number of rules associated with the ticket.

  • Date Opened: Date on which the ticket was opened.

What Can I Do?

In this page, you can do the following:

  • Search: Use the Search bar to search and filter tickets. You use free text to search the fields. For example, you can type 762 to retrieve the ticket with that ID.
  • View in SecureChange: Click a link in the Ticket ID column to open the ticket in SecureChange.

  • View progress: Hover over an icon in the Progress column to see the progress status for the ticket.

  • Delete a ticket: For Failed tickets, click the checkbox and select Delete Tickets from the Action () list.
