What's New in RLM
Version 3.0
-
Rule-centric ownership : Assign owners directly to firewall rules, not just underlying assets using the new Manual Assignments feature. See Manual Assignments.
-
API : Use the updated API to assign owners directly to rules. See Import Owners using API.
-
Hybrid ownership logic: Combine rule-based and asset-based ownership logic seamlessly. Manually assigned rules are exempt from the IP-based matching process.
-
Asset matching logic : The names for the calculation methods have been updated for clarity. See Calculation Methods.
-
Rule UIDs: Rule UIDs have been updated to match SecureTrack Aurora UID. UID is now a global identifier, searchable in either Rule Viewer or the RLM screens like MyQueue or All Rules.
-
Ownership tracking: The Owners and Assets page has been updated to display a tabulation of manually assigned rules for each owner. The screen has been renamed Owners.
-
Email notifications
-
Custom email notifications have been updated for improved display in Outlook, Outlook Dark Mode, and a wide range of email clients.
-
If using RLM with an LDAP or AD, Display Name has been added to the email template builder.
-
Formatting in email notifications for admins has been updated for improved display.
-
-
Email notification settings
-
Automatic email notifications at scan time are now disabled by default. Enable this feature from the Email Settings page. See Enabling/disabling automated notifications after scans.
-
-
Pending page navigation filters: Quickly locate rules in a condition of Conflict or Partial certification.
-
Persistent search filters: Switch back and forth to Certification Details without losing your place.
