Working with Device Groups
Overview
For STRE reports that collect data across multiple live and offline devices, you define the report scope by selecting individual devices, device groups, or both.
A device group lets you combine multiple devices from the same vendor or from different vendors into a single group. Instead of selecting each device when you create the report, you can create a device group once and use it to run the report on all relevant devices. This simplifies configuration, saves time, and makes it easier to manage reports that span multiple devices.
Device Groups are not supported for the following reports. Please select individual devices or parameters when running these reports:

Create a Device Group
Create a device group by adding devices from the same vendor or adding devices from multiple vendors.
For the Device Audit report, you can add multiple devices from the same vendor and device type to the device group. For other reports, you can add devices from multiple vendors to the group.

Go to Settings > Device Groups.
The Device Groups page is displayed.

If you have multiple domains, select the Domain to which to add the Device Group.

Click + Add Device Group.

In Name, enter a name for the device group.

In Group Type, select one of the following:

Multi-vendor: Add devices from multiple vendors to the device group. This group type is valid for all reports that support device groups, except the Device Audit report.

Device Audit: Add devices from the same vendor to the device group. This group type is valid only for the Device Audit report.

For the Device Audit Group Type only, from the Device Type list select the device type to view the list of available devices.

In Available Devices, search for the device you need, and click the device name to move it to the list of Selected Devices.

Repeat step 7 for each device to add to the device group.

Click Save.
Manage Device Groups
Once you add a device group, you can update its members, rename the device group, or delete it.
- Select the domain with the device group you need.
- From the List of Device Groups, select the device group.
- Do any of the following:
- To add or remove devices from the group, click the device name in Available Devices (add) or in Selected Devices (to remove).
- To rename or delete, click the More Options icon
, and then select Rename or Delete.
