Installing, Upgrading, and Uninstalling
Before installing and starting to work with Vulnerability-based Change Automation App (VCA), follow the prerequisites for the app.
After you install the app, you will need to install a license. For more information, see Managing the App License.
Install the App
-
Log in via SSH to the SecureChange server.
-
Copy the installer file to the root directory (/root).
-
Go to the folder and run the installer file:
# sh vca-vX.Y.Z.el7.run
Upgrade the App
To upgrade Vulnerability-based Change Automation App, install the latest version on the server where the older version is installed. There is no need to uninstall your existing version first.
Upgrade Tufin Orchestration Suite
If you are also upgrading Tufin Orchestration Suite (TOS), upgrade TOS and then upgrade Vulnerability-based Change Automation App. See Marketplace App Lifecycle to verify that your app version will run with your TOS version.
Uninstall the App
Uninstalling Vulnerability-based Change Automation App is a simple process – running a command in the SecureChange server. This stops the service and removes the app files from the database. However, the vulnerability data and app settings are still retained for future use.
