Uninstalling VCA

Uninstalling Vulnerability-based Change Automation App (VCA) is a simple process – running a command in the SecureChange server. This stops the service and removes the app files from the database.

However, the report data and app settings are still retained for future use. If you want to remove this information, contact a Tufin Representative for support.

Uninstall VCA

You may need to uninstall Vulnerability-based Change Automation App to save resources such as disk space and memory. You cannot temporarily deactivate the extension.

Uninstalling VCA is a simple process – running a command in the SecureChange server. This stops the service; however, Tufin retains settings and other records required by the extension.

  1. Using SSH, log in to the SecureChange server.
  2. Go to the root directory and run the following command:
  3. # sh vca-v<VERSION>.k3s.run --uninstall
