Initial Setup of SecureTrack+

Overview

Congratulations on the purchase of your Tufin Solution, which includes a number of software products that need to be installed and licensed. This page lists the steps required to set up your software. For more information about the functionality included and to see other available packages, see Tufin Solution Tiers and Tufin Extensions.

Prerequisites

You have received the email from Tufin containing your license keys.

  • Tufin Orchestration Suite (.dat file)

  • Vulnerability Mitigation App (.lic file)

  • IPAM Security Policy App (.lic file)

  • AKIPS if you purchased TOS Discovery (license key)

Installing the Software and Licenses

  1. Make sure all the .dat and .lic files, received previously by email, are available. You will need them in the steps that follow.

  2. If TOS is already installed, upload your new license now.

    If TOS is not installed, install it now.

  3. If STRE is already installed, go to the next step.

    If STRE is not installed:

    1. Download it from the STRE home page (if you are still running TOS Classic, download instead from STRE for TOS Classic).

    2. Follow the appropriate installation instructions:

  4. If SPB is already installed, go to the next step.

    If SPB is not installed:

    1. Download it from the SPB home page (only available for TOS).

    2. Install SPB

  5. A license is required if you are running TOS R23-1 or earlier, or you have a legacy (non-tiered) TOS license - see Installing a License.

    If VMA is not installed:

    1. Download it from the VMA home page

    2. Follow the appropriate installation instructions:

    If ISPA is not installed:

    1. Download it from the ISPA home page.

    2. Follow the appropriate installation instructions:

  7. TOS Discovery requires AKIPS.

    TOS and AKIPS must be deployed on separate servers and be able to communicate.

    TOS Discovery will be available after you activate in AKIPS the license key you received from Tufin. If you did not receive an AKIPS license key in the email from Tufin, contact support.
