Initial Setup of Tufin Enterprise

Overview

Congratulations on the purchase of your Tufin Solution, which includes a number of software products that need to be installed and licensed. This page lists the steps required to set up your software. For more information about the functionality included and to see other available packages, see Tufin Solution Tiers and Tufin Extensions (formerly Tufin Marketplace).

Prerequisites

You have received the email from Tufin containing your license keys:

  • Tufin Orchestration Suite (.dat file)

  • Vulnerability Mitigation App (.lic file)

  • IPAM Security Policy App (.lic file)

  • Rule Lifecycle Management App (.lic file)

  • Vulnerability-based Change Automation App (.lic file)

Installing the Software and Licenses

  1. Make sure all the .dat and .lic files, received previously by email, are available. You will need them in the steps that follow.

  2. If TOS is already installed, install and activate your new license now.

    If TOS is not installed, install it now.

  3. If STRE is already installed, go to the next step.

    If STRE is not installed:

    1. Download it from the STRE home page (if you are still running TOS Classic, download instead from STRE for TOS Classic).

    2. Follow the appropriate installation instructions:

  4. If SPB is already installed, go to the next step.

    If SPB is not installed:

    1. Download it from the SPB home page (only available for TOS Aurora).

    2. Install SPB

  5. A license is required if you are running TOS Aurora R23-1 or earlier, or you have a legacy (non-tiered) TOS license - see Installing a License.

    If VMA is not installed:

    1. Download it from the VMA home page

    2. Follow the appropriate installation instructions:

  6. A license is required if you are running TOS Aurora R23-1 or earlier, or you have a legacy (non-tiered) TOS license - see Installing a License.

    If ISPA is not installed:

    1. Download it from the ISPA home page.

    2. Follow the appropriate installation instructions:

  7. A license is required if you are running TOS Aurora R23-1 or earlier, or you have a legacy (non-tiered) TOS license - see Installing a License.

    If VCA is not installed:

    1. Download it from the VCA home page.

    2. Follow the appropriate installation instructions:

  8. A license is required if you are running TOS Aurora R23-1 or earlier, or you have a legacy (non-tiered) TOS license - see Installing a License.

    If RLM is not installed:

    1. Download it from the RLM home page.

    2. Follow the appropriate installation instructions:

  9. If Workflow Integrator is already installed, go to the next step.

    If Workflow Integrator is not installed:

    1. Download it from the Workflow Integrator home page.

    2. Follow the appropriate installation instructions:

  10. If Policy Change Automation for Cisco ACI is already installed, go to the next step.

    If Policy Change Automation for Cisco ACI is not installed:

    1. Download it from the PCA home page (only available for TOS Aurora).

    2. Install PCA

Get familiar with the software. All links default to the latest TOS Aurora KC (knowledge center). If you want an earlier release, you can select the appropriate KC from the default page below.
