Rule Certification

Overview

The Certification tab in the Rule Viewer shows certification details for the selected rule.
Certification information is only populated when the rule:

• Is part of a SecureChange rule certification workflow (active or inactive), that has an associated ticket

• Has a certification status and the rule’s metadata has been updated

Certification Information

The upper section of the tab displays:

• Certification status: Whether the rule is currently Certified or Decertified.
• Certification ticket: Link to the associated ticket in SecureChange. Clicking the link opens the ticket where you can view its rules and take actions if needed.

• Certification date: The date the rule was certified.

• Certification expiration: The date the certification is set to expire.

• Owner and Owner Email: The name and email of the user who is the handler for the rule.

• Comment: Additional information on the rule's certification status if defined when the rule was certified.

Certification History

The lower section of the tab displays a shared record of the rule's certification events and the actions taken so far.

Certification history helps:

• Locate certification records without requiring access to SecureTrack
