Legacy License Expiration, Renewal and Maintenance

This topic refers to Tufin legacy licenses. For solution tiers, see License Expiration, Renewal, and Maintenance, or contact [email protected].

Starting from September 2022, Tufin offers subscription licenses in a tiered packaging model that are priced according to the number of firewall units and cloud virtual machines in your network deployment.

If you have legacy subscription or perpetual licenses then once the subscription or perpetual maintenance agreement expires, the attached devices will be considered Unlicensed in TOS. When this happens, you will be offered a solution tier that most closely mirrors your existing TOS capabilities. In addition, you may be offered heritage SKUs to complement any existing functionalities you possessed that are not included in your new solution tier. These heritage SKUs will only be valid for the duration of the first subscription period. Afterwards, you will need to decide whether to purchase a higher tier, or forego using the additional functionalities.

For more information on these tiers, see Solution Tiers, and contact Tufin Sales Support.

For Plug and Play devices (devices added beyond the license limit and monitored by SecureTrack for 30 days), SecureTrack will first attempt to attach them to a perpetual license SKU. If there are no available perpetual SKUs, SecureTrack will attach them to a subscription SKU, starting from the latest expiration date. If there is no available subscription license, the devices will remain plug and play until the end of the 30 day period. Afterwards, they will be considered unlicensed.
