Which Version of TOS am I Using?

When lodging a support request or to determine which features are supported, you may need to check which version of TOS you are using. The version number is made up of 3 components, the version number (for example 21-2), the suffix (GA, HF, or RC), and the build number. Part of this information may be available only to Admin users.

There are several ways to determine your version, depending on which version you are using and which features you have access to:

Find the TOS Version in the User Interface

In recent versions of TOS, you can view the version in the user interface:

  • In SecureTrack or SecureChange, in the top right corner click to view the version number

In earlier versions of TOS, you can identify the version by opening the Knowledge Center:

  • In SecureTrack or SecureChange, in the top right corner click > What Can I do on this Page.

The version number is displayed at the top of the Knowledge Center

Identify the TOS Version with a CLI Command

Users with Admin privileges can do one of the following:

  • In SecureTrack, go to Admin > Status.

  • Run the following command:

    [<ADMIN> ~]$ sudo tos version
    sudo tos version

If you do not know which version of TOS you are using, try both of these commands, one of them will work.

For further information, see Command Line Interface (CLI)
